Relocating to a new area can be very stressful. Often times the demands of a new job make it difficult to focus on a home search. However, finding a home will provide the stability you need to make a smooth transition.
Our team is very experienced in relocation and will work very closely with you using our proven ANH model. It may sound sophisticated, but it is quite simple. We start by helping you select an Area you want to live, then target Neighborhoods, and finally Home in those neighborhoods.
Area – the main considerations are school districts, commute, access to amenities, taxes and proximity to friends and relatives. There are several great areas in Houston, each offering something unique. Spending the time to narrow down the area you want to live will greatly speed the process of finding a home.
Neighborhoods – once you have narrowed down the area you to live, it is wise to spend time understanding the various neighborhoods in that area. Factors to consider are the actual schools your children will attend within a district, how close you are to school boundary lines (because they can change), what are the price points of the homes and average square footage, do you want to build a new home or is there an age criteria for resale homes, do you want custom home or a spec home, are there certain builders you prefer. Once we spend the time understanding this information, we are ready to start selecting homes to preview.
Homes – based on the criteria above, we will perform a custom home search in the selected neighborhoods with additional criteria such as: price range, number of bedrooms, number of baths, garage size, lot size, pool, green belt or golf course, cul-de-sac lot, exterior construction (brick, stone, stucco, etc).
We then start the process of viewing properties that match your criteria.
